Southwinds Christian Academy exists to assist parents in educating and equipping their students to develop a heart for God, cultivate a sound biblical worldview, and to prepare them to impact their family, church, community, and world through a Christ centered education.
Southwinds Christian Academy’s role is to work in conjunction with the home to mold students to be Christ like. Of necessity, this involves the schools understanding and belief of what qualities or characteristics exemplify a Christ like life.
SCA works to create an environment for students to be successful by creating a quality education with a Biblical worldview at a cost that allows families to thrive.
“We are so grateful that Southwinds Christian Academy has been put in our path. Our kids are doing so great here and we are so happy with the education they are receiving, the wonderful staff, and new friends that have been made. God is moving in our life in huge ways, and we are so glad for the outpouring of love that we have all received here.”
“My daughter was in the position that most parents faced last year with the pandemic. Virtual learning at home for her son while working a fulltime job from home. Southwinds was able to accommodate the parents in this position with home schooling on site at the church. This was so successful with my grandson and his education exceeded our expectations while in a Christian learning environment. We were excited when Southwinds chose to start a Christian Academy. My grandson has excelled with the curriculum and the Christian teachings the school provides. The individual attention he receives in class allows him to excel in both his subjects and his biblical education. The children in his class are kind and considerate and have respect for each other. The staff and all the teachers love each child and treat them as they were their own. We could not be more pleased with our experience with Southwinds Christian Academy.”
“Making the decision to switch our children from public to a private Christian school was one of the best decisions that we made for our family. The classes are small and personal, and the teachers genuinely love and care for all the kids there. Both my children have grown by leaps and bounds, not only in their academics, but in their spiritual growth as well since starting Southwinds Christian Academy.”
We love the Bible and use the Abeka curriculum with biblical values at our school.
Our focus is to better our local community through the value of biblical-based education.
